This 52-year-old woman from Flagstaff, AZ requested consultation for revision of her bilateral reconstructed breasts. She had worsening pain, contracture, and deformity of her breasts following her mastectomy and reconstruction, for which radiation therapy of the right chest was necessary postoperatively. She underwent revision of her bilateral reconstructed breasts with scar capsule excision and placement of cohesive silicone gel implants. As an adjunct to improve the contour and appearance of her reconstructed breasts, she had micro fat grafting of her right breast to add additional tissue and improve contour, which also ameliorates much of the radiation damage from its stem cell proerties. After photos show an enhanced shape and symmetry of her bilateral reconstructed breasts. She is very happy with the appearance of her revised breast reconstruction and stated that her self-esteem has been much improved.
